Welcome to the advent of the "BLAG." You won't see all of the content you may have had all at one time with the AG Update, but you will also see the BLAG a lot more often. Lots of stuff coming up...from the sounds of things, most people have planned their seasons well in advance. Nearly every swimmer in the group has signed up for a championship meet, so that is very encouraging. If you are confused about which meet is YOUR championship meet, refer to the previous AG Update to get it sorted out. Splash-4-Cash is this Saturday, the AG time is 8-9:30AM. Swimmers should be on hand earlier than 8 to check-in with our volunteers to be eligible for prizes. I would venture that about 1/3 of the people in the water typically come out with free stuff! Them's some pretty good odds. Remember that you can continue to solicit donations AFTER this Saturday. It's a fund raiser...it's about the funds. AG-Advanced Swimmers going to the Annapolis meet this weekend should come to the 3:30 practice with your luggage in hand. You will have some time to get in and swim more than a warm-up and then be ready to go at 4:30PM. This practice will count toward your practice requirement. LOOKING FOR ENTRIES? Try the Meets link and clicking on "meet list." We are trying to direct all the meet information to the meet list area. We are still figuring out all the options this web-site provides. Parents, remember to direct all questions about your child's involvement in swimming to his or her coach. I know that instinct tells you not to "bother" the coach, and to try to find the answer on your own. Sometimes the answer you may have found, might not be the one that your coach had in mind. The parent-athlete-coach communication triangle is important to success in this sport...keep the communication moving in all directions. See you at the pool... Mark
