PSDN Age-Groupers finished 8th in the 05-06 nationally competitive Internet Distance Challenge. Formerly titled the Postal Distance Challenge (results were sent by snail mail), the Internet Distance Challenge is an event that is open to all comers, swum in each team’s home pool. Individuals race their teammates and more importantly the clock. At the end of the year, the results are sent to USA Swimming to tally up the rankings of participants over the season. This year, the girls finished 7th and the boys 11th to help the team to the 8th place finish. As we involve more groups and improve our aerobic swimming, we’ll look to improve this placing for the future.
