With outstanding weather on the outer banks our annual beach weekend was as always, delightful with one exception. Brian "BMX" Fischetti brought home a case of road rash and a slight break in his right collar bone. Brian will have a recovery time of 4-6 weeks. Boys will be boys! Brian had a tremendous summer of training and was off on an extended run which will assist his recovery and efforts once back in the water.

New team captains were selected for 07-08:  Samm Holland, Ellen Carter Stagg and Paige Endsley represent the ladies with John Evans and Johnnie Hermes supporting the men. We look for great leadership from our senior class.

Please check your meet schedule and add our dual meet with TIDE on Saturday September 29^th. This will be a van travel event departing early Sat and returning after a cookout and time on the beach Sat evening.

I am very pleased with the training efforts and team camaraderie to this point. Keep up the efforts as the atmosphere is riding high and assists our practice performance.
